My name is David, and I come from Billingham, a town in Teesside, in the north east of England. I began drawing and painting from a young age, and went on to study art at college and graphic design at university. After which, life led me away from art altogether, and for a good 4 or 5 years, I rarely picked up a pencil or a brush.
In 2012, I joined an evening art group, and in no time at all I had rediscovered my passion and my hobby.
These days I paint in whatever spare time I have, which is never enough! I mostly like to paint and draw landmarks, sights and scenes from around Teesside where I live, and the north east of England in general. I hope you like my work.

Where is the art group that you go to as l don’t know where there is one near me, l live in Notron.
Hi Suzie, sorry for the delay in getting back to you! Sadly my art group is no longer going but it was part of Tees Achieve which is something still going through Stockton Council. If you contact them I am sure they still have some courses going. Hope you find something 🙂
